Add-Ons are Items that can be toggled in the Item-Menu. Many of them are cosmetic, and it is only possible to have one of each cosmetic type (one skin, one step effect, one aura and one pet) active at a time. Detectors and boosters, however, assist in-game in different ways and can all be active at the same time.

Detectors

Detectors help to detect items, by emitting an impulse and displaying the number of the detected item, upon entering the room.

Name and Description Uses How to Find
Mine Detector
Emits an impulse when entering a room that contains missing mine equipment.

Detector for locating Laser Pickaxe, Laser TNT and Mining Docs in the Temple Mine.

Given by Advisor in Bergen Village's Seeker Hub for the Digging Up the Past sidequest.

Chest Detector
Emits an impulse when entering a room that contains an unopened chest.

Detector for locating treasure chests.

Buy from Rhombus Square Curios Trinkets for 33333 Credits.

Skins

Skins change the appearance of Lea.

Name and Description Uses How to Find
Holiday Hat
A special hat you got from Holiday Man for helping him. Wear it proudly!

Gives Lea a Santa Hat in the main menu and overworld (but not in cutscenes). Does not change portraits.

Given by Holiday Man as a reward for the Gifting for Fun! sidequest.

Kunoichi
Run like a Ninja? Now you can look like one too!

Dresses Lea up in ninja garb in the main menu and overworld (but not in cutscenes). Does not change portraits.

Indiegogo timed backer exclusive for backers at the Ninja Perk and above; released to the public as the Ninja Skin DLC (Steam link) on December 13, 2018

Manlea
Increase your manliness and turn into Manlea.

Changes Lea into Manlea in the main menu, overworld, cutscenes, and portraits. Does not affect dialogue.

Released as the Manlea Skin DLC (Steam link) on April 1, 2021

Step Effects

Step Effects make Lea emit some effects when she walks or jumps.

Name and Description Uses How to Find
Sparkly Boots
They will make you sparkle with every step. Literally.

Makes Lea emit star sparkles when she runs, as well as play a shimmering sound when she jumps.

Bonus Code gimmick

Holiday Boots
Take out the presents before putting in feet!

Makes Lea emit snowflake sparkles and holiday bell sound effects when she runs/jumps.

Obtained from Holiday Man after completing the Gifting for Fun! sidequest and obtaining all four elements

Area Boosters

Area Boosters are purchased in Rhombus Square. There are six boosters in total relating to the six main areas of the game. Acquiring and enabling the item will cause enemies of the area to become stronger through increased levels and stats as well as drop rare gem stones used for trading. Each booster requires a legendary item found from its corresponding area.

Boosters affect an area, not a specific group of enemies. For example, with the Trail Booster active, the Old Hedgehags in Bergen Trail will be boosted, even though the Monster Fibula will not show them as boosted since they're primarily an Autumn's Rise enemy.
