Azure Archipelago is a location in CrossWorlds. It is a chain of tropical islands connected by shallow sandbars located to the southwest of Rhombus Square. This area is exclusive to the A New Home DLC.

Azure Archipelago
These vibrant shores were recently made accessible by the United Voyager Nation as they hold the final key required to open the door to the Ascension Temple in Sapphire Ridge. Not long ago they simply appeared from the ocean floor and vegetation quickly took over the higher parts of the area. Large smooth stone pillars surround the archipelago, possibly to break the waves of the rough ocean around the various islands.

Layout

Azure Archipelago consists of a ring of connected islands, with a small temple, the Altar of the Key, at the center, which can be reached from the south side of the ring. Players arriving from Rhombus Square start at the east side of the ring and must proceed counterclockwise around it, as the shorter clockwise path can only be unlocked from the other side.

One notable feature of this area is a long jumping puzzle on top of rock pillars that circles around the entire ring.

Role in the Plot

In CrossWorlds

Azure Archipelago is a newly-integrated part of the Track of the Ancients. Seekers must traverse this area and complete a small challenge to collect the Ancient Shade. Seekers are additionally rewarded by Di'orbis, who extends their SP bar, and the Trackwalker General, who gives them three Circuit Overrides.

In CrossCode

Lea travels through Azure Archipelago and completes the challenge at the Temple. After this, Apollo confronts her and tells her it's time for their final duel. Lea departs for Rhombus Square to take up the challenge.

Secrets

Two Captain's Reports can be found in this area. The first is in Rough Lagoon, on the long jumping path. The second is in Altar of the Key, to the right of the enemy rush.
