The Carritrich is a Monster in CrossCode. They can be encountered in the Temple Mine.

Appearance

The Carritrich is a robot with long legs and a basket that is hanging behind it. Its "eye" is presumably a lamp. It seems to be infected by Fleazers.

Combat

The Carritrich will become aggresive once they have been activated in the Temple Mine and once Lea either comes too close. They are invulnerable when dormant. While fighting, it will try to stalk Lea and attack. Its first attack begins by flashing white, followed by the Carritrich charging at Lea. If this attack misses Lea and the Carritrich doesn't hit any walls, it will briefly flash red and it can be hit to break the Carritrich, temporarily stunning it and making it receive more damage from attacks. Its second attack is also begun by flashing white, and is followed by the Carritrich running towards Lea and trying to jump on her twice, dealing damage. Guarding doesn't have any affect on either attack, but either attack can be broken if enough damage is dealt during it. The Carritrich is resistant to VRP.

Strategies

Since the Carritrich can have a lot of HP for players just entering the mine, it's advised to wait until the Carritrich charges at Lea and dash out of the way so that it can be broken for a lot of damage. Make sure that there is enough room behind you as the Carritrich can't be broken if it hits a wall. When the Carritrich charges its second attack, make sure you have enough room to dodge it as it can be very hard to evade this attack whilst cornered. Dealing enough damage to it when it's charging or jumping is only advised for very high level players, since it takes a lot of damage to break one of its attacks.
