Rookie Harbor/Quests

Many sidequests are available for players in Rookie Harbor. The four Factions each have some quests available: one that can be completed immediately, and additional ones that unlock later in the game (a second after completing the first and reaching Bergen Trail, and a third, implemented only for one faction yet, after Faj'ro Temple). There are also several independent quests available.

Storyline Quests

These quests, although not mandatory, are associated with the main CrossWorlds plot and are given out in the Seeker Hub.

LVL 3 Faction Introduction
Seeker Hub Unlock Conditions: Complete the Seeker Introduction in the Seeker Hub
Faction Advisor Each of the 4 Factions has a local subdivision in Rookie Harbor: Falldivers, Rookie Harbor Guard, Coastal Trading Coalition and Fruits of Autumn. Introduce yourself to the representatives!
  • Visit the 4 factions in Rookie Harbor
    • Visit the FD HQ southwest of the Market
    • Visit the RHG HQ near the western exit
    • Visit the CTC ambassador at the Seeker Hub
    • Visit the FoA HQ at the Market
  • Report back to the Faction Advisor in the Seeker Hub
LVL 4 Training with the Master
Seeker Hub Unlock Conditions: Complete the Seeker Introduction in the Seeker Hub
Advisor The Rookie Harbor Teacher Master Sensei is famous for training the best Seekers. Find him in the Rookie Harbor - Info Hub and participate in his training to become a master yourself.
  • This quest cannot be completed yet, as two of its subquests are not implemented.
  • Train with Master Sensei
  • Complete the subquests:
    • Training: VRP
    • Training: VPI
    • Training: Guard & Dash (not implemented)
    • Training: Final Challenge (not implemented)
LVL 4 Training: VRP
Seeker Hub Unlock Conditions: Subquest of Training with the Master
Advisor Participate in the VRP Training Course with Master Sensei in Rookie Harbor - Info Hub.
  • EXP (50 at same level)
  • Goto Van Pummelson in the Info Building in Rookie Harbor - South Harbor for the VRP Training
  • Successfully finish the VRP Training course.
  • This course consists of seven tasks that must be completed in order:
    • Shoot all 12 Tr4in-0s
    • Shoot all 12 Tr4in-0s in 10 seconds
    • Shoot all 6 Tr4in-0s using ricochets
    • Shoot all 6 Tr4in-0s using ricochets again
      • (The far left and right Tr4in-0s in this challenge have proven difficult to many players. Aim your balls so that the second bounce is on the back of the triangle blocks.)
    • Shoot the Tr4in-0 10 times without missing
      • (Don't spam throw; an 11th throw counts as a miss)
    • Shoot the 2 Tr4in-0s 5 times each without missing
      • (Hitting one more than 5 times doesn't count as a miss)
    • Shoot all 12 Tr4in-0s in 10 seconds without missing
LVL 4 Training: VPI
Seeker Hub Unlock Conditions: Subquest of Training with the Master
Advisor Participate in the VPI Training Course with Master Sensei in Rookie Harbor - Info Hub.
  • EXP (50 at same level)
  • Goto Van Pummelson in the Info Building in Rookie Harbor - South Harbor for the VPI Training
  • Successfully finish the VPI Training course.
  • This course consists of six tasks that must be completed in order:
    • Hit all 12 Tr4in-0s
    • Hit all 12 Tr4in-0s in 10 seconds
    • Hit all 12 Tr4in-0s in 10 seconds by multi-hitting when they're grouped together
    • Perform 5 Dash Cancels
    • Defeat all 4 Tr4in-0s in 25 seconds by using Dash Cancels
      • (The time limit makes this difficult at level 4. If you're having trouble with this, try leveling up a bit first.)
    • Defeat all 4 Tr4in-0s in 25 seconds while using less than 50 attacks and at least 5 Dash Cancels
LVL 4 Training: Guard & Dash
Seeker Hub Unlock Conditions: Subquest of Training with the Master
Advisor Participate in the Guard & Dash Training Course with Master Sensei in Rookie Harbor - Info Hub.

Not implemented yet! You can solve this quest in a later version.

  • This cannot be done, as the training is not yet implemented.
LVL 4 Training: Final Challenge

Coastal Trading Coalition

LVL 6 Small Time Delivery
Rookie Harbor Marketplace Unlock Conditions: Begin the Faction Introduction quest
Mr. Nomsworth Mr. Nomsworth, an employee of the trading association of Rookie Harbor, commissioned you to acquire certain items from the market and deliver them to his client.

(Faction Introduction need to unlock)

LVL 13 Bull Grab
Rookie Harbor Marketplace Unlock Conditions: Complete the Small Time Delivery quest and reach Bergen Trail
Mr. Nomsworth Businesspeople are in danger of doing business without eating! Search for the food collector in Autumn's Rise and find out what happened to her and the delivery.
  • Find the food collector along the main route through Autumn's Rise
  • (They're in Pathway 5 near the west entrance)
  • Clear out the pit on Pathway 5 to get back the package
  • You'll need to fight four rounds of enemies in a confined space:
  • Pick up the Lunch Delivery Package
  • Talk to the collector on Pathway 5 again
  • Go back to Mr Nomsworth on the Marketplace

Falldivers

LVL 6 Digging for Data
Falldivers HQ Unlock Conditions: Begin the Faction Introduction quest
Forerunner Elenya Pioneer Tucos of the Falldivers has lost a data storage while fleeing from aggressive wildlife. Use your Analysis to find it and retrieve it.
  • Find and examine the location of the data on Off Road 1 of Autumn's Rise
  • Examine large rocks with your Seeker Sense to find one that's been disturbed
  • Defeat all the Rockin' Hillkats
  • Two Rockin' Hillkats spawn and must be defeated
  • Open the chest and get the Geo-Data #3469
  • Report back to Forerunner Elenya in the Falldivers HQ
LVL 13 It can dig, but it can't hide!
Falldivers HQ Unlock Conditions: Complete the Digging for Data quest and reach Bergen Trail
Forerunner Elenya The data storage and reports from Tucos talk of an organized group of Hillkats. Meet up with him to confront the threat.
  • Meet up with Pioneer Tucos at Pathway 5 in Autumn's Rise
  • Follow Tucos to the entrance of the cave
  • Explore the the cave and search for enemies
  • Defeat the Hillkat Bandleader
  • (NOTE: This is a difficult boss, ensure you are appropriately prepared and leveled.)
  • Open the mysterious chest
  • Leave the cave and talk to Tucos again
  • Report back to Forerunner Elenya in the Falldivers HQ

Fruits of Autumn

LVL 6 Sickly Trees
Fruits of Autumn HQ Unlock Conditions: Begin the Faction Introduction quest
Chief Woodkeeper Manzana Four trees in Autumn's Rise have been infected with a disease and endanger the harmony of the Track. Find them with your Analysis and cure the sickness with the Pure Autumn Cider.
  • Heal the 4 sick trees in Autumn's Rise:
    • Heal the tree in Pathway 2
    • (In the southwest corner on the high ledge accessing Off Road 1)
    • Heal the tree in Pathway 3
    • (In the large cluster of trees on a ledge at the south side of the area)
    • Heal the tree in Off Road 2
    • (On the ledge at the north side of the area)
    • Heal the tree east of Obelisk Lake
    • (On the southeast ledge only reachable by taking the south path from Pathway 3)
  • Report back to Chief Woodkeeper Manzana in the Fruits of Autumn HQ
LVL 13 Intensive Tree Care
Fruits of Autumn HQ Unlock Conditions: Complete the Sickly Trees quest and reach Bergen Trail
Chief Woodkeeper Manzana A sacred tree in Autumn's Rise has been infected with a disease that endangers the harmony of the Track. Cure the sickness with the Autumn Salve.
  • Cure a sick special tree in Pathway 3 of Autumn's Rise with Autumn Salve
  • The salve takes 2 minutes to take effect. During this time, a wave of enemies spawns every 30 seconds:
    • Wave 1: 2 Red Eyed Bovines and 6 Old Hedgehags
    • Wave 2: 8 Old Hedgehags
    • Wave 3: 2 Red Eyed Bovines and 6 Old Hedgehags
    • Wave 4: 2 Red Eyed Bovines and 8 Old Hedgehags
  • The enemies do not need to be defeated, but ignored enemies will lick the tree, lowering its HP. If its HP hits zero, you'll need to restart.
  • Teammates are very helpful here, as they allow you to defeat the Bovines much faster so enemies don't pile up.
  • Report back to Chief Woodkeeper Manzana in the Fruits of Autumn HQ
LVL 36 Bull on Fire
Fruits of Autumn HQ Unlock Conditions: Complete the Intensive Tree Care quest and complete the Faj'ro Temple
Chief Woodkeeper Manzana A once proud Bovine has fallen ill with a burning disease which set the beast ablaze in both body and rage. Find its hiding spot and lay it to rest!
  • Enter the Densewater Caverns on Secluded Path in the northeast of Autumn's Fall
  • Search for the raging Bovine in the Densewater Caverns and lay it to rest
  • The Densewater Caverns are a mini-dungeon involving several water block and bubble puzzles and Fallfly fights.
  • At the end of the cave, you will fight the Blazehoof, a challenging boss.
  • Report back to Chief Woodkeeper Manzana in the Fruits of Autumn HQ

Rookie Harbor Guard

LVL 6 Petty Crime Hunter
Rookie Harbor Guard HQ Unlock Conditions: None
Sgt. Brassler You talked with the captain of the Rookie Harbor Guard and decided to help them out a bit. One of the city guards needs some reinforcements.
  • Talk to Guard Kima in the Marketplace (on the balcony above the market)
  • Confront Shady Shorsh in the park southeast of the Marketplace
  • Talk to Mr. Brittles (just west of the fountain) to learn where Shorsh ran
  • Confront Shorsh again in the dead-end alley leading south from the Marketplace into South Harbor
  • Talk to Mr. Brittles again
  • Find Shorsh in Autumn's Rise Pathway 1
  • Defeat the two Hedgehags attacking Shady Shorsh
  • Talk to Shady Shorsh again
  • Report back to Sgt. Brassler
LVL 13 Smuggle Trouble
Rookie Harbor Guard HQ Unlock Conditions: None
Sgt. Brassler Unauthorized shipments of illegal weaponry have been arriving in Rookie Harbor lately! Go to Beginner's Arc and investigate!
  • Talk to Guard Officer Cedric at Beginner's Arc
  • Find a suspicious crate at the Beginners Arc and check it's contents
  • Defeat the Illegal Rhombus Turret
  • Find the shady looking dockworker
  • Defeat the three Illegal Rhombus Turrets and go after Sober Frank
  • Defeat the three Illegal Rhombus Turrets and go after Sober Frank again
  • Defeat the four Illegal Rhombus Turrets, then five more, and finally catch Sober Frank
  • Report back to Sgt. Brassler in the Rookie Harbor Guard HQ

Independent Quests

Rookie Harbor also has several independent quests not associated with any faction. Most are stand-alone, but the Ms. Teak quests must be completed in order, with each unlocking after the previous one is completed.

LVL 1 Railing Rider
Beginner's Arc Unlock Conditions: None
SkaterBoi A Man in Rookie Harbor challenged you to beat his challenge. Go ride those railings and show him what you got!
  • Run on the railings to reach the boxes in the southeast of the area
    • (NOTE: It may be easier to jump the side docks rather than running around them)
  • Return to SkaterBoi


LVL 12 Wood 'n Steaks
Rising Exit Unlock Conditions: None
Ms. Selena Teak Ms. Selena Teak wants to create the best streaks in all of Rookie Harbor and needs someone to deliver the ingredients. A worthy task indeed!
LVL 21 Meating Expectations
Rising Exit Unlock Conditions: None
Ms. Selena Teak Despite the disappointing first try, Ms. Selena Teak is still determined to find the perfect preparation for steak. This time you should search for a different combination of wood!
LVL 14 All hail the Ice Cream
Rookie Harbor Marketplace Unlock Conditions: None
Frosty Arnold The respectable Ice Cream Dealer in Rookie Harbor wants you to collect some Bergen Ice from Bergen Trails for him.
  • Collect Bergen Ice high up on Bergen Trails
    • It can be found by breaking Diamond Ice in Rising Path 3.
  • Talk to the Ice Cream Dealer on the Rookie Harbor
LVL 15 A Promise is a Promise
Marketplace (northwest alley) Unlock Conditions: None
??? (Ketin D'Kar) You found a weird player wearing armor from all classes trying to find a LV01Broken Chakram. He said you can find it in Autumn's Rise in an area where it rains and you have to defeat lots of Hedgehags.
  • EXP (100 at same level)
  • 1000 Credits
  • Find the Broken Chakram in Autumn's Rise
    • Kill all the Hedgehags in the Hedgehag's Den in Autumn's Rise
    • Defeat the Blue Hedgehag that spawns
      • (NOTE: This is a Level 15 miniboss. Despite the quest level, it would be very challenging to fight it at level 10.)
    • Collect the LV01Broken Chakram
  • Hand over the Weapon to the strange player at the Rookie Harbor

Removed Quest Hub Quests

These generic quests in the Seeker Hub were placeholder Quests and can't be obtained anymore. They were removed in 0.9.5.

Involvement in Other Quests

Gifts must be given to four players in the area as part of the Gifting for Fun! quest in Bergen Village. They can be found in the following locations:

  • Triblader: Near the golden chest in South Harbor, down the dead-end alley only reachable from the Marketplace.
  • Quadroguard: In the southwest corner of Beginner's Arc. You need to run on the railings to reach her.
  • Pentafist: In the south of Rising Exit, hidden behind a building and AFK.
  • Hexacast: In the small park southeast of the Marketplace.

Jock, one of the friends that must be found for the Legendary Bunny quest in Bergen Trail, is in the Rookie Harbor Inn.
