Autumn's Rise is a Location in CrossWorlds. It is a large, forested area crisscrossed by rivers where it appears to be permanently autumn. This is the first area CrossWorlds players explore when they exit Rookie Harbor.

Layout

Autumn's Rise stretches in a roughly east-west direction between Rookie Harbor and Bergen Trail. The halfway point of the area is Obelisk Lake, where a large obelisk serves as a waypoint and hosts a small group of traders. In the southwest, an abandoned observatory once held a monster-fighting tournament. To the north is a small guild village which is currently inaccessible.

Level 3 Quest

One of the Cargo Crew members has a quest for you! And it involves hitting this! Straightforward, isn't it?

The Fanboy at the Entrance tells you that he has some starting equipment for you, but he can only give it to you as a quest reward. He instructs you to kill 10 hedgehags. Do so, and return to him for the reward.

Level 3 Quest

One of the Cargo Crew members has another quest and this time you have to collect things. By hitting plants!

The Fanboy at the Entrance has more equipment for you, and you need to collect 3 Autumn Leaves and 3 Gold Beetles to claim it. Find the items and return to the Fanboy.

Level 9 Quest

A game tester near the end of Autumn's Rise has asked you to take part in a game test. Help him verify this parkour course. However if you leave the map, your progress is lost!

The Game Tester is found in Pathway 6, on the upper level only accessible from the End of Autumn's Rise. He asks you to help him test a new quest type: Parkour. Follow the markers around the map, passing through each one to make the next one appear.

The Old Observatory

Level 10 Quest

Captain Jet asked you to find to find two key pieces hidden in Autumn's Rise. Find them and find out what's inside the observatory.

Captain Jet is at the Old Observatory, and is trying to find two Key Pieces in order to unlock the place. The first piece is located in the area ???, in a chest that only appears when a switch in the same area is activated. To obtain the second piece, you need to talk to the Blue Avatar in Pathway 3. He will tell you he has a challenge for you, but you must find 20 chests in Autumn's Rise before you're allowed to undertake it. Find the chests, and he will let you fight the area's bonus boss, the Blue Cargo Crab. After defeating it for the first time, he will give you the second Key Piece. Return to Captain Jet to complete the quest.

Involvement in Other Quests

• In the Sickly Trees quest, the four trees must be found in the area. They are located as follows:
  • Pathway 2, on the southwest ledge that grants access to Off Road 1
  • Pathway 3, on the thickly-forested ledge in the south of the area
  • Off Road 2, on the high northern ledge
  • Obelisk Lake, in the southeast corner of the map, right by the upper access from Pathway 3
• In the Digging for Data quest, the data can be found in the far western section of Off Road 1. Two Rockin' Hillkats must be defeated in order to claim it.
• In Petty Crime Hunter, the thief you are pursuing flees to the northeast corner of Pathway 1, where you must defend him from two Hedgehags to apprehend him.
• The Bull Grab sidequest requires you to find the food collector in the southwest corner of Pathway 5. Here, you must fight four waves of enemies in order to retrieve the Autumn Ingredients:
  • Red Eyed Bovine
  • Old Hedgehag x9, Red Eyed Bovine
  • Flamin' Hillkat x4, Red Eyed Bovine
  • Old Hedgehag x5, Flamin' Hillkat x2, Red Eyed Bovine x2
• The A Promise is a Promise sidequest requires you to collect the Broken Chakram, which you do by summoning and defeating the Blue Hedgehag in the Hedgehag's Den.
• The first four collecting and hunting quests from the Seeker Hub are intended to be completed in the area.
• One of the friends you are searching for in the Legendary Frobbit sidequest, Jeff, can be found at Obelisk Lake, at the traders.
• The Gifting for Fun! sidequest requires you to give presents to four players in the area:
  • Triblader: In Quiet Passage 2, on the south ledge only accessible from Quiet Passage 1
  • Quadroguard: In the far northeast corner of Pathway 5, across the river
  • Pentafist: At the south end of the Old Observatory, beside the lake
  • Hexacast: In the northwest corner of Pathway 2, only accessible via the ledge south of the trail from Pathway 3

Challenges and Secrets

In the Hedgehag's Den area, defeating 18 enemies will cause the Blue Hedgehag miniboss to spawn. Defeating this enemy is necessary for the A Promise is a Promise sidequest.

The Blue Avatar will allow you to fight a bonus boss, the Blue Cargo Crab, if you find 20 chests in the area and then talk to him in Pathway 3. Defeating this boss is needed for the Old Observatory sidequest. The fight is timed and repeatable.

Completing the Old Observatory sidequest will unlock the timed and repeatable Enemy Rush challenge.

There is a perfectly ordinary tree located in the ??? area. Its presence is completely irrelevant.
