Behesloth
The Behesloth is a Monster in CrossCode. They can be found in Gaia's Garden
Appearance
A giant sloth with armour on its jaw, forehead, front claws, feet, hind legs and back. The armour has purple accents.
Combat
Behesloths are armoured everywhere except on their belly, greatly reducing damage from any attack.
It only has 2 attacks, one where it stands on his hind legs and lashes out with one of its claws, and one where it curls up in a ball and charges at you at high speed.
While on its hind legs its belly is vurlnerble for attacking, which grants a short moment to deal damage without its armour reducing it. Attacking that area also fills up a gauge that breaks the Behesloth, making it lay on its back for a short period where you can continue attacking its belly.
You can also counter the attack where he charges at you by doing a perfect guard. this is highly effective, but can prove difficult if you are close to him
Strategies
It is best to fight Behesloth at a distance, relying on perfect guard to create openings where you can deal a lot of damage. Be wary that after a while of laying on its back it will leap into the air and create an electric explosion upon impact, which can deal quite a bit of damage, so you need to move away from it fast enough, after which you will have to counter his attacks again. Rinse and repeat untill defeated. If you are underleveled you could also try to burn him to deal the majority of the damage.
