Removed Enemies

The Alpha Shredder was a Monster in CrossCode. They used to be encountered in the removed Enemy Rush challenge in the Autumn's Rise Observatory.

Appearance

The Alpha Shredder is a metal robot resembling a humanoid upper torso and head. It floats on rings of orange energy. It is made of dark grey metal with red highlights. It is physically identical to its stronger counterparts, the Shredder and the Prologue Shredder; while the Shredder uses different attacks, the Prologue Shredder is identical in all ways except for stats.

Combat

During combat, the Alpha Shredder will follow the player closely and attempt to attack them. Their attack has three parts. First they dash forward towards the player, stopping just short of them if they are close enough. They then charge their attack, briefly flashing red, and finally, they finish with a powerful punch.

Strategies

The Alpha Shredder encountered in the Enemy Rush is fought alone, and is therefore not particularly difficult.

• The Alpha Shredder was first introduced with the release of the Demo. It has appeared in all subsequent game releases until version 0.6.0, where the Enemy Rush challenge was removed.
