There are two Shock Guard Combat Arts available to Spheromancers: one first-level and one second-level art.

Clock Block

LVL 1 CP 1 SP 1 DMG None EFFECTS Interrupt Shock Guard

Block one attack and slow down time for everything but yourself.

Lea waits ~1 second for a guardable attack with small sparky arcs in front of her. That attack deals 0 damage, and time slows down for everything except Lea for ~2 seconds. A swirl of sparks rotates around Lea indicating the active effect.

Clock Block is useful for dealing with things that normally move very fast. With time slowed down, Lea can close in on targets, attack faster, land attacks on speedy enemies, and dodge incoming enemy attacks. By attacking faster, you recharge SP faster, making up for the cost of the art. Curiously, unlike most triggered guard arts, Clock Block is not a perfect guard, despite reducing damage to 0.

Glitch Time

LVL 2 CP 2 SP 3 DMG None Shock Guard

Block one attack and stop time for everything but yourself.

Lea waits ~1 second for a guardable attack with small sparky arcs in front of her. She perfectly guards the attack, and slows time to a near standstill for everything but herself for ~5 seconds. Two swirls of sparks rotate around Lea indicating the active effect. Balls she throws move very slowly and enemies resist knockback until the effect ends. It ends early if Lea begins charging any combat art.

Glitch Time is a very powerful art, allowing Lea to attack many times without retaliation, but enemy attacks already in progress still hurt. If your SP recharge is good enough, you can maintain this state almost indefinitely by attacking in Neutral Mode during the effect. You can finish off the end of Glitch Time with a combat art.
