Toby Tremblay
Toby Tremblay, nickname C'tron, is a new Member of the First Scholars. He is a Hexacast that wears purple-colored clothing.
Appearance
C'tron has black hair, dyed purple in some parts, that is spiked up, except for two short hairs that fall around his forehead. He wears purple hexagon-shaped glasses over his gray eyes, and has a purple hexagon-shaped gem in the center of his forehead. He has headphones shaped like hexagons, with a purple design in the middle. Like all other hexacasts, there are hexagonal earrings hanging from the headphones, but he also has a piece that wraps around the back of his head that sits over the headphones.
He wears a long purple cape that is white on the edges, and has hexagon designs on the sides. Underneath this cloak are black robes. He also wears a belt with a purple buckle, and a purple bracelet on each wrist.
Personality
C'tron is a friendly player who recently joined the First Scholars, and meets Lea and Emilie-Sophie de Belmond through the guild. He often offers fun facts and trivia about enemies and the animals they are based on, or the terrain of the areas in CrossWorlds. He also frequently talks about how much he enjoys ice cream.
Relationships
When in a party with both C'tron and Emilie, Emilie will frequently tease him for being knowledgeable in biology or complaining about the unrealistic terrain, calling him a nerd. This is all done in good fun, as he frequently responds with a smile on his face.
History
Role in CrossCode
On the third day, C'tron first makes contact with Lea as she prepares to head into Maroon Valley. He introduces himself and states that he is busy, but offers to party up with her the next day.
On the fourth day, C'tron meets up with Lea and they complete the Maroon Tree Defender quest together. They later on wait for Emilie to complete it before racing through the Faj'ro Temple.
For the next three days, he managed to complete the Chase of the Hologram Frobbit quest and get the Green Seed Shade. He then makes a raid with the rest of the guild, with Lea and Emilie in his team. But Lea's disappearance prevents him from finishing the raid, as the rest of the First Scholar guild.
Several days later, C'tron invited Emilie and Lea to the Gaia's Garden and reconcile them. They later race through the So'najiz Temple and the Zir'vitar Temple, the same day for one and the next for the other.
He then log out to let the two girls racing through the Grand Krys'kajo with Apollo, and meets Lea at the top of the temple the next day, offering to join her to explore Sapphire Ridge.
He later finish the Trials of the Golden Bugs quest after Apollo and get the Meteor Shade, along with Lea, Emilie, Apollo and Joern. He then heads to Rhombus Square to enjoy the last zone of the game with the last three.
He does not participate in the events of Vermillion Wasteland, due to an impediment in real life. He is later seen in the credits in the said area, quoting a comment made by Evotar Lukas, while Lea was held there.
After achieving the good ending and accessing the "A New Home" DLC, seven months pass by. As revealed by Emilie, after C'tron left prior to Vermillion Wastelands, he never returned to the game and even deleted his account somewhat recently.
Sergey later takes Lea aside and reveals to her that C'tron disappearance is not as unexplainable as Emilie had thought. It is revealed here that C'tron was behind getting Lea to the Vermillion Wastelands the first time and tried to orchestrate the second raid to get her back there. He was effectively a spy for Sidwell and acted as such until he was confronted by Sergey, after which he left and deleted his account. Sergey then reveals that there is Evotar data for C'tron and plans to utilize it to get him back.
Once C'tron returns as an Evotar, it is revealed that he has lost most of his memories. After taking him to Ba'kii Kum, Gaia's Garden, and the top of Grand Krys'kajo, C'tron suddenly remembers everything and attempts to go back to Vermillion Wasteland, only to find the entrance blocked up. He then explains himself to Lea and apologizes. Being an Evotar, he is invited to stay at Homestedt with Lea and Luke, to which he accepts.
His involvement with Sidwell is kept a secret from the others, as they would predictably not take kindly to this betrayal.
