Faction Quests

All factions in Bergen Village currently have two levels of quests. The second becomes available after beating the first one and completing the Temple Mine.

Ascension Spirits

LVL 17 Trial of Aspiration
Ascension Spirits HQ Unlock Conditions: None
Wise Nemuh You have talked to the Monks of the Ascension Spirits in Bergen. To prove your harmonic connection with the Track, beating a trial shall be necessary.
  • Speak to Monk Hasouk to gain access to the Cave of Aspiration
  • Enter the Cave
  • Proceed through the three agility challenges
    • Challenge 1 consists of jumping around on several small platforms to press a button on each, and then waiting for a timer to lower the gate onward. Two invincible turrets shoot at you, and will enrage and start shooting faster once half the buttons are pressed.
    • Challenge 2 is more platforms within a maze of orange walls. Pressing buttons will lower the walls, but also activate turrets outside the maze. Once all buttons are pressed, the turrets will begin to move, and four switches outside the maze will be accessible one at a time. Hit all switches and wait for the gate to lower to complete this section.
    • Challenge 3 places you on a group of four slowly-moving platforms, defending against four turrets ahead of you. Three times, you must hit a switch in order to proceed. At the end of the section is a platform promising "stability". Jump on it, and you will be surrounded by turrets. Shield their attacks long enough to hit two switches, and you will get access to the end.
  • Collect the Aspiration Proof from the chest.
  • Return to the Monastery, and speak to Monk Hasouk.
  • Return to Wise Nemuh.
LVL 18 Challenge of Aspiration
Ascension Spirits HQ Unlock Conditions: Complete the Trial of Aspiration quest
Monk Hasouk The Monk Hasouk has given you two additional challenges to beat in the Cave of Aspiration.
  • Complete the two subquests:
    • Chlg. of Aspiration: No Shield
    • Chlg. of Aspiration: Timed
  • Return to Monk Hasouk
LVL 18 Timed Challenge (Challenge of Aspiration)
Ascension Spirits HQ Unlock Conditions: Subquest of Challenge of Aspiration
Monk Hasouk Prove your fervor by beating the Cave of Aspiration in under 2:00!
  • EXP (100 at same level)
  • Enter the Cave of Aspiration
  • Complete the Cave in less than 2:00 from leaving the start platform to reaching the end platform
    • This is a rather tricky quest with little tolerance for error. If you are having trouble, try perfecting the sections individually before trying them consecutively.
LVL 18 No Shield Challenge
Ascension Spirits HQ Unlock Conditions: Subquest of Challenge of Aspiration
Monk Hasouk Prove your bravery by beating the Cave of Aspiration without Guarding!
  • EXP (100 at same level)
  • Enter the Cave of Aspiration
  • Deactivate guarding at the display by the entrance
  • Proceed through the Cave
    • Note that the final Stability section is slightly modified to make it easier to survive without a shield.
LVL 22 Trial of Progression
Ascension Spirits HQ Unlock Conditions: Complete the Trial of Aspiration quest and the Temple Mine
Wise Nemuh Another trial awaits to prove your connection with the Track to the Ascension Spirits. And this one will be served cold.
  • Find Monk Aisy at the Temple Entrance and melt the ice that they are sitting on to talk to them
  • Enter the Cave
  • Proceed through the three agility challenges
    • Challenge 1 consists of running around an icy loop path, activating four buttons and then two switches while a central turret shoots at you.
    • Challenge 2 consists of following a long, winding icy path and pressing several buttons along the way. In many places, the path is blocked by Respawning Ice Walls, and there are of course a number of turrets shooting at you.
    • Challenge 3 begins with a section in which you must jump back and forth between two periodically blocked paths, while a turret floats ahead of you shooting at you. It then leads to a large, icy platform where four turrets gather around you. You must avoid being knocked off the platform for two rounds, hitting switches after each. Due to the iciness of the platform, both guarding and dashing can be dangerous here, and running in a small circle may be the best strategy to avoid the projectiles.
  • Collect the Progression Proof from the chest.
  • Exit the Cave and speak to Monk Aisy.
  • Return to Wise Nemuh.
LVL 24 Challenge of Progression
Temple Entrance Unlock Conditions: Complete the Trial of Progression quest
Monk Aisy The Monk Aisy has given you two additional challenges to beat in the Cave of Aspiration.
  • Complete the two subquests:
    • Chlg. of Progression: Frosty
    • Chlg. of Progression: Timed

Monk Aisy Prove your passion by beating the Cave of Progression with "Extra Frosty" being activated!
  • EXP (100 at same level)
  • Enter the Cave of Progression
  • Activate "Extra Frosty" at the display by the entrance
  • Proceed through the Cave
    • This option will greatly increase the number of Respawning Ice Walls that appear during the challenge.

Bergen Digging Mates

LVL 17 Filthy Frobbits
Bergen Digging Mates HQ Unlock Conditions: None
Chief Miner Turis Frobbits broke into a mine and were contaminated before fleeing. Weaken them with forced baths and defeat them!
  • Find the Dirty Frobbits in Rising Path 2 of Bergen Trail
  • Defeat all 10 Dirty Frobbits by first knocking them into the water to weaken them
  • Return to Chief Miner Turis
LVL 22 Explosive Debugging
Bergen Digging Mates HQ Unlock Conditions: Complete the Filthy Frobbits quest and the Temple Mine
Chief Miner Turis A nest of rock-hard bugs has been penetrated by a mining shaft of the Bergen Digging Mates. Only explosive measures can save this operation!
  • Enter the New Mine and talk to Darrel
  • Activate the bombs and defeat the Flintzers that spawn
  • Break the Stone Walls filling the mine and defeat the Flintzers inside
  • Collect the Flintzer Excretions from the chest
  • Defeat the large wave of Flintzers that spawn
  • Return to Chief Miner Turis
LVL 24 Preemptive Debugging
New Mine #1 Unlock Conditions: Complete the Explosive Debugging quest
Darrel Though the area has been cleared, the miner Darrel is worried that the Flintzers might return. He thus suggested some preemptive measures.
  • Enter the New Mine
  • Defeat the massive wave of Flintzers that spawn
  • Return to Darrel

Bergen Guard

LVL 17 Kidding Around
Bergen Guard HQ Unlock Conditions: None
Sgt Sterling A goat kid is jumping around on the roofs of Bergen Village, annoying its citizens. It is up to you to catch it!
  • The goat is on a rooftop in Bergen North. Jump on the roofs starting at the Quest Hub to reach it, but it runs away.
  • Find the goat again in Bergen South, and it will run into the storehouse. Corner it and capture it.
  • A guard will come for the goat upon exiting the storehouse.
  • Report back to Sgt Sterling and she will tell you that she never sent a guard.
  • Find the imposter guard in Rising Path 5 (on the cliff's edge on the lower level - to the far right side of the map).
  • Fight off the Horny Goats and return to Sgt Sterling.
LVL 22 The Goatfather
Bergen Guard HQ Unlock Conditions: Complete the Kidding Around quest and the Temple Mine
Sgt Sterling Hints towards the hideout of the imposter guard and his goat kid have been found. Examine them and bring those criminals to justice!
  • Find the Horncave in Bergen Trail Rising Path 4 and defeat the Horny Cavegoat guarding its entrance.
  • Continue through the first two rooms of the cave, defeating the Horny Cavegoats to proceed.
  • Defeat the three waves of Horny Cavegoats in the final cave
  • Return to Sgt Sterling

Bergen Trade & Metalwork

LVL 17 Fancy Tophat
Trader's Den Unlock Conditions: None
Mrs. Summers A rather eccentric person in Bergen wants your help in search for a Tophat worthy of his refined taste. Find a suitable artisan who can help you with that task!
  • Talk to Jamie Twirlson in the Bergen shop
  • Talk to the Hatmaker (in Bergen North, making a snowman)
  • Collect Perforated Tophat x2, Fluffy Fur x7 and Winter Thorn x5 from Bergen Trail
    • Perforated Tophats are dropped by Karottos at high combat rank only
    • Fluffy Fur is dropped by Young Frobbits and White Frobbits
    • Winter Thorns are dropped by Omega and rarely Beta Lance and Pike Shrub botanics
  • Return to the Hatmaker to get the LV20Proper Tophat
  • Return to Jamie Twirlson
    • As a bonus, he lets you keep the hat
  • Return to Mrs. Summers
LVL 22 Heating the Hermit
Trader's Den Unlock Conditions: Complete the Fancy Tophat quest and the Temple Mine
Mrs. Summers The heating system at the popular tavern Hermits House in Bergen Trail has been damaged. Go there and help them out!
  • Go to the Hermit's House in Bergen Trail and talk to the owner
  • Collect Refined Metal x7, Metal Gears x3, Bergen Ice x10 and Arid Lumber x15 from the areas around Bergen
  • Return to the Hermit's House owner
  • Enter the basement and hit the switches by melting some Ice Walls and using others to bounce balls off of
  • Repair the generator and return to the Hermit's House owner
  • Return to Mrs. Summers

LVL 20 Gifting for Fun!
Bergen South Unlock Conditions: None
Holiday Man Holiday Man who apparently likes to gift people for fun, asked you to help him giving presents to various players. Bring the presents to the players!
  • This quest is locked with a Bonus Code.
  • Get 16 Holiday Presents from Holiday Man
  • Give gifts to the four players in Bergen Village
    • Triblader: East side of Bergen South, on a roof. Go through Bergen North to reach this roof.
    • Quadroguard: In Bergen North, on the roof of the Inn. Climb up the stairs by the Quest Hub and go counter-clockwise around the teleporter, dashing past some players blocking the roof to reach here.
    • Pentafist: In the back of the Trader's Den
    • Hexacast: West side of Bergen South, on a roof. Jump along the roofs from Bergen North to reach here.
  • Give gifts to the four players in Bergen Trail
    • Triblader: In Off Road 3, on a ledge east of the south entrance
    • Quadroguard: In Rising Path 5, on the north ledge reached after solving the area's puzzle
    • Pentafist: In Bergen Waterfalls, on a ledge west of the south entrance
    • Hexacast: In Old Plateau, on a high ledge in the northwest corner
  • Give gifts to the four players in Autumn's Rise
    • Triblader: In Quiet Passage 2, on a ledge only accessible from Quiet Passage 1
    • Quadroguard: In the northeast corner of Pathway 5, across the river
    • Pentafist: By the water in the south of The Old Observatory
    • Hexacast: In Pathway 2, on a ledge only reachable on the upper path from Pathway 3
  • Give gifts to the four players in Rookie Harbor
    • Triblader: Near the golden chest in South Harbor, down the dead-end alley only reachable from the Marketplace.
    • Quadroguard: In the southwest corner of Beginner's Arc. You need to run on the railings to reach her.
    • Pentafist: In the south of Rising Exit, hidden behind a building and AFK.
    • Hexacast: In the small park southeast of the Marketplace.
  • Talk to Holiday Man
  • Enter the Holiday Man Cave and defeat the Meister Karotto bonus boss
  • Talk to Holiday Man again
    • Note that Holiday Man will offer you a second reward of Holiday Boots if you return to him after completing all elements.
LVL 20 Building a Base
Omni Gilders Base Unlock Conditions: None
Omni Gilders General One of the Generals of the Omni Gilders Guild has asked to obtain some materials for their base. You can find them in the Temple Mine and on Bergen Trail.

  • Collect Rock Beak x 5 and Bug Shell x 10
    • Rock Beaks are dropped by Pengpengs in Bergen Trail
    • Bug Shells are dropped by Fleazers and found in Egg Pot botanics in the Temple Mine
