The A Promise is a Promise series of quests is centered around Ketin D'Kar, a strange Seeker who appears to have equipment from all five classes. Each quest involves the collection of one of five broken pieces of equipment located throughout CrossWorlds.

You found a weird player wearing armor from all classes trying to find a LV01 Broken Gauntlet. He said you can find it in Autumn's Rise in an area where it rains and you have to defeat lots of Hedgehags.

- Find the LV01Broken Gauntlet in Autumn's Rise
- Go to the Hedgehag's Den and kill all of the Hedgehags and Old Hedgehags to spawn the chest.
- Opening it starts a fight with the Blue Hedgehag. Defeat it to get the LV01Broken Gauntlet.
- This is a level 15 miniboss. Although you can try it immediately at level 4, it will be an extremely challenging fight.
- Hand over the Weapon to the strange player at the Rookie Harbor Market.

- Find the LV01Broken Sword in Maroon Valley
- After obtaining the Cold Element go to the Dusty Home in Ba'kii Kum and talk to NPC to get the
 Cursed Coin.
- Go to the upper right corner of River Cliffs near the extinguished torch and you will gain acces to a new area.
- Complete the Cursed Temple and at the end you will face Cursed Sharkster. Defeat it to get the LV01Broken Sword.
- Hand over the LV01Broken Sword to D'Kar in Ba'kii Kum - Shad Home.

- The shrine mentioned is located behind the north-most large tree in Royal Grove which is accessible from Calm Backyard
- The tablet at the lost shrine can only be unlocked after entering the sequence (The Konami code with A and B reversed) found on another tablet in the eastern area of Grand Krys'kajo Entrance (Entering the sequence before reading the tablet in Grand Krys'kajo Entrance will NOT work.)
- Flashing the Tiefsee Angler by charging the screws located around the area while the Tiefsee Angler is nearby one applies Break, temporarily opening a window to attack
- Hand over the LV01Broken Deck to D'Kar in Basin Keep - Echelon Tower

- The poem refers to Tranquil Bamboo in Sapphire Ridge, where behind the cherry tree is a hidden bamboo path that leads to Baton Pond.
- Complete the timed parkour challenge by hitting all 7 switches around the pond to gain access to the locked-off cave.
- In The Barracks, use shock attacks to lure the Kamikaters to destroy the obstructing rocks, then defeat the War Webster using their ice weakness.
- Defeat the Pandza Mk. II by using Kamikaters to blast away its rock defenses, and using wave warp points to dodge its massive wave beam, in order to collect the LV01Broken Chakrams.
