Upgrades in CrossWorlds unlock new abilities and menus for players to use. Official CrossWorlds upgrades come with fancy upgrade platforms and flashy effect sequences. Lea receives several of her upgrades unofficially from Sergey, which lack the effects, showing that this is purely cosmetic. Sergey also uses special upgrades to hard-code Lea's speech module with new words.
The following table lists all upgrades in the typical order obtained. All upgrades are mandatory unless specifically specified otherwise.
