Mecha Gear FISH is a former PlayStation-exclusive boss that can be encountered in Gaia's Garden as part of the quest Foul Play.
Appearance
Mecha Gear FISH is an Angler that appears to be inside a fish bowl. Its fish bowl is installed in a mecha suit with gigantic legs, wings and missile launchers.
Combat
Mecha Gear FISH has three HP breaks. The break point is its legs. When both are broken, it will stand back and create a shockwave that moves you back but cause no damage, and summon a rain of flaming debris to strike you. These debris can be used to bring the Angler down, when you stand at the right spot.
First phase has 2 combat moves: First the Mecha charges at you, leaving a stream of ice on its path, and jumps down with AoE ice damage. Or it will create 2 balls of wave damage, dashing at you at high speed.
Second phase has 3 combat moves: The only new combat moves is jumping ~4-5 times on you, each will create wave bubbles like the Whale of Grand Krys'kajo. The last one will have a larger AoE radius. Otherwise it will ice-charge 2 times and create 2 more balls of wave damage.
Third phase only has 3 moves. Jumps 5 times, Ice-charge 4 times, and 6 balls of wave damage.
Strategies
Punch its legs until both are broken. Then position yourself to be between its legs when the rain falls.
