The Tunnel Teslabovine is an organic enemy in CrossWorlds. They can be encountered in Gaia's Garden during the quest An Original Idea and in the second version of the Tower Defense minigame.
Appearance
Tunnel Teslabovines are large black mammals resembling bulls with metallic heads. They sport purple hooves and horn bases, as well as purple rings around their legs and a large golden pattern on their back. Instead of horns, Tunnel Teslabovines have 2 tesla coils sticking out of their head.
Combat
This enemy always spawns with a protective shield that returns the damage done to the player and can only be disrupted by Neutral turrets, however, during the entirety of its charge attack, the shield will deactivate. Attacking it from the front won’t deal much damage because of its metal mask, so the player must attack its back, which also happens to break the Tunnel Teslabovine after hitting it enough while it is stunned or preparing to charge.
If the player gets close enough, it stomps the ground and causes a short-ranged shockwave. Whenever it is walking in a straight path, it can charge into a wall and cause a powerful electric current to appear behind its own path, which leaves it stunned and without its shield for a small period.
Strategies
Charging allows them to advance a great distance and reach the Pathhacker faster. This in combination with their big health pool makes them formidable foes during the Turret Defense minigame, but even then, they can be broken very easily and their weakness to Wave and Heat makes getting rid of them a simpler task.
