Alpha Shredder

The Attack Robot is a monster in CrossCode. They can be found in the Old Hideout, with one also being encountered in the Enemy Rush challenge in Autumn's Rise.

Appearance

The Attack Robot is a metal robot resembling a humanoid upper torso and head. It floats on rings of orange energy. It is made of dark grey metal with red highlights. It is physically identical to its stronger counterpart, the Advanced Attack Robot; the two are distinguished only by their behavior.

Combat

During combat, the Attack Robot will follow the player closely and attempt to attack them. Their attack has three parts. First they dash forward towards the player, stopping just short of them if they are close enough. They then charge their attack, briefly flashing red. They finish with a powerful melee slash. The attack sequence is vulnerable to being disrupted while they are flashing red.

Strategies

The Attack Robots encountered in the Old Hideout require no special strategy to defeat, due to Shizuka's substantially higher level at the time. The one encountered in the Enemy Rush is fought alone, and is therefore not particularly difficult. Disrupting or dodging its attacks is recommended due to the high damage.

Rewards

When defeated, an Attack Robot awards ?? Credits, along with XP related to your current level. They are not known to drop any items.
