Quests in CrossWorlds consist of a wide variety of tasks, such as combat, parkour, and puzzle-solving, in addition to providing rewards and unlocking more quests upon completion. Although most quests are optional, they make up a major part of CrossWorlds content. They are also a good source of EXP, Credits, and special equipment, reducing the need to grind.

Most quests are built into CrossWorlds, given out by NPCs and presumably available to all players. Many of these quests are linked to one of the four Factions, and often tie into the Track of the Ancients and the player's role as a Seeker. It is also possible for players of CrossWorlds to create quests for other players to complete. This is typically used to recruit the assistance of another player. Lea is unable to create quests, but there are several instances where she can accept player-created quests.

In CrossCode, the player can find quests by talking to NPCs or looking at the bulletin boards in each Seeker Hub (though a few are unlisted). In the Quests section of the Character Menu, all quests accepted thus far can be reviewed and favorited to appear on the HUD. Some quests are marked as elite, meaning that they may be especially difficult despite their level.
