Shokats fight with quick dashes and electric discharges. As they are harmful even by mere contact they tend to leap directly on top of combatants, delivering a hard hitting blow and then stay in close quarters to maximize damage through their passively damaging fur.
The Shokat is passive and slowly gets close to the player so it can do little contact damage with its electrostatic fur. When engaged in combat, it dodges most attacks until it either charges electricity and dashes towards the player to hit them with its tail, or stays in place while surrounded with a purple aura. Hitting it enough with ranged attacks such as [[Balls]] will break it, making it stationary and causing it to pull the player towards itself to deal massive contact damage.


As the fight progresses they can also use electromagnetic attraction to pull their opponents into themselves. While channeling, the effectiveness of their electric aura is vastly increased. Careless opponents who get trapped by the attraction can be destroyed in seconds.

While in combat Shokats can execute a channeled skill that attracts combatants towards it involuntarily. The force of attraction can be outrun or out-dashed. When outside the attraction radius the Shokat can be fired at with throw arts at relatively low risk.

Once a Shokat starts pulling, the player must summon their shield and guard its static aura, dealing massive damage to Shokat while taking little to none himself. However one must be wary that the shield doesn't break while doing this. One can also utilize the neutral guard art [[Guard Sphere]] as a substitute for the normal shield so it won't break.
