The Rob0ck is a mechanical enemy in CrossWorlds. They can be found in Zir'vitar Temple and Gaia's Garden.

Rob0ck

Ancient texts describe this bi-pedal robot as one of the first creatures created for the track itself. It strongly resembles a chicken and the fact that the Ancients resemble birds too begs the question: Is this what the ancestors of the Ancients looked like? Or is this just too meta? Anyway, make sure to use wave teleporters to escape their lightning fast shock attack. This leaves them mighty confused and open for some pummeling.

-Monster Fibula report

Appearance

A Rob0ck is a bipedal robot. Its body is shaped like the third part of a sphere and is colored black with purple stripes. At first sight, its head, which is small and is shaped like a sphere with a beak, seems to be embedded into its body, but it can stretch its neck like a spring to attack its enemies. Its arms are bent forward and are grey with a purple circular connection between the thinner section that is connected to the body and the larger part that it can flip whenever it fires a lightning strike.

Combat

Every attack it does is Shock-based. Before attacking, its body gets covered in white light and bolts of electricity surround it. Its basic attack is getting close to the player and pecking them two times. Its other attack is charging a lightning strike and firing it at the player. This is indicated by a red crosshair appearing over them and a dotted line connecting both the target and the Rob0ck. Using any Wave Teleporter, even if it is in front of the enemy's line of sight, will confuse it and leave it vulnerable to being broken with a single Melee hit or charged Ball.

Strategies

To dodge its basic attack, Dash out of the way when it stretches its neck upwards. In case you fail to teleport when you are being threatened with the lightning strike, the red crosshair will get progressively smaller before the Rob0ck shoots. Dash when the crosshair's arrows get so close they touch each other.
