The Heat Statue is a mechanical Monster in CrossCode. They can be encountered in the Ku'lero Temple.

Heat Statue

This living stone structure is actually part of a larger hive mind capable of stacking different versions of each other to form a super-organism. To make things worse, close by pillars can form a strong bond that will supercharge its defensive attacks.

-Monster Fibula report

Appearance

The Heat Statue is a stone cylinder that resembles a bird of prey. It has really small eyes, a red decoration that looks like feathers and a huge beak that it uses to spew out projectiles.

Combat

To attack, it can either shoot a Heat projectile that explodes in a small area, or charge and shoot another projectile that leaves a fire trail and has a bigger area of effect. This enemy can form a tower with others of its kind (Cold Statue, Shock Statue, Wave Statue and itself) and only the one at the bottom will be active, which means it will attack the player and become temporarily fragile after doing so. If two or more Heat Statues are active at the same time, they get temporary shields and use their strongest attack twice.

Strategies

Simply attack the towers in the correct order so there is never more than one Heat Statue active at a time. But even then, if you happen to make a mistake, destroying one of the matching statues fast enough will prevent them from doing their combo attack.
