The Shock Statue is a mechanical Monster in CrossCode. They can be encountered in the Ku'lero Temple.

Shock Statue

This living stone structure is actually part of a larger hive mind capable of stacking different versions of each other to form a super-organism. To make things worse, close by pillars can form a strong bond that will supercharge its defensive attacks.

-Monster Fibula report

Appearance

The Shock Statue is stone cylinder with an angry purple snake coiled around itself.

Combat

To attack, it can either shoot an extremely fast lightning bolt directly at the player or charge and shoot an exploding projectile that causes lightning strikes to fall over its traveling route. This enemy can form a tower with others of its kind (Heat Statue, Cold Statue, Wave Statue and itself) and only the one at the bottom will be active, which means it will attack the player and become temporarily fragile after doing so. If two or more Shock Statues are active at the same time, they get temporary shields and use their strongest attack twice.

Strategies

Surprisingly, the Shock Statue's basic attack is more dangerous than its strong attack purely because of its speed. This becomes an issue when you have to dodge it along the different attacks from other statues, meaning that causing a color combo to destroy two or more statues at the same time ""might"" be a good option, however, you can always play it as intended and just focus on not combining their colors or destroying them fast enough so they don't combine.
